“FOKUS 2018” Announces Photography Contest
FOKUS is an International Annual Contest and Exhibition of Photography in Fier, Albania. Everyone can participate without age limitation. Maximum 3 photographs can be submitted. If selected, only 1 photograph will be accepted. The theme of the competition is: “Duel with light”. Photographs are emailed to: focus@fokus-al.com through: www.wetransfer.com The submissions should be high resolution, enough to do 50x70cm large prints. Photographers should email additional information such as: name and surname, the titles of photographs, full mailing address and telephone number. Submitted photographs should not have been previously exposed. Photoshop manipulated photos will be rejected. The deadline for submitting of photographs is 30 august 2018 at 24:00.
Evaluation and Selection
Photos will be evaluated and selected by the International Artistic Board. Photographs nominated for FOKUS 2018 will be exhibited on October 12, at the Art Gallery,Fier, Albania. FOKUS 2018 will award the most successful photos of the competition with: Main Prize is $ 1,000 and two other are non-monetary prizes. Printing, framing, printing the catalog of FOKUS 2018 will be done by the organisers. All participating photographs hold fully authors copyright. Printed photographs for the exhibition will not be sent to authors. Organisers retain the right to use photographs to promote FOKUS activities.
