Can't merge FBX - Full computer crash (Windows 10, C4D R23)
Hey guys!
So... I have this project that I've been working on for a while on my hackintoshed HP Spectre x360 (16b ram) and I just got this new pc because my spectre couldn't keep up with the project anymore...
New pc has 48gb of ram, gtx 960 (had a budget and just built it so I couldn't afford much more than that) & ryzen 2600x, so it should be much better than 16gb, Intel HD Graphics & i7-6500u...
Problem: I launch Cinema4D (the project started on my Spectre), click "merge projects" to add a forest (built in blender with soooo many trees!!), it freezes, then loads a bit (bottom loading bar starts to fill), then gets stuck 3/4 of the way through and eventually the whole system crashes...
The weird thing is that, even though it was EXTREMELY slow, my Spectre would load it with no issues... Is there anything I can do?
Note: I'm really starting to realize that Mac is better, I just haven't gotten to hackintosh my brand new pc just yet! (yes, despite the gtx 960 and 2600x being old, all the parts are brand new!)
EDIT: I just got this error when merging: "Looper2|Insufficient", whatever that means... Couldn't find anything online...
