After Watching this clip, I realised that :
SHE JUST HURT MY FEELINGS ….
Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan has defended proposed changes to anti-vilification laws under the facade of multiculturalism, which would consider “𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽” as incitement, and as long as its legally determined that “𝗮 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂t” — then you could be facing a fine of up to $11,885.40 and/or 3 to 5 years imprisonment.
These new laws also propose that if someone outside of Victoria vilifies a person in Victoria, then the person making a threat would be investigated and prosecuted for the offence.

MAKING AUSTRALIA SAFER AND EFFECTIVE
By aiming to Eliminate Christian values
The government’s efforts are focused on responding to vilification and hate conduct, particularly highlighting marginalized communities…
Could that include Robots?
Key Points:
• The proposed changes aim to address the significant and cumulative harm caused by vilification, as highlighted in the Committee’s review of anti-vilification protections in Victoria.
• The government’s response acknowledges the importance of a comprehensive framework to tackle hate conduct and vilification, building on current initiatives and prioritizing future actions to address the Inquiry’s recommendations.
• The Premier’s defense of the proposed changes demonstrates her commitment to creating a safer and more inclusive environment for all Victorians, regardless of their background or identity.
What specific provisions of the proposed changes aim to address cumulative harm faced by marginalized communities?
How do the proposed changes align with international human rights standards and frameworks on hate speech and discrimination?
What resources and funding has the government committed to support the implementation and enforcement of the proposed anti-vilification laws?
