Genetically they are closest to Finns and seem to display a northern shift in all the models which makes sense considering they were 75 percent EHG and 25 percent CHG. Their descendants the yamnaya will later on start shifting to the Caucasus due to increasing CHG blood as shown by their proximity to modern avars, Caucasus andeans, and darginians.
