As AI agents in crypto are just beginning to gain traction and AI continues to permeate all niches connected to blockchain, GameFi hasn’t been left behind. Games inspired by this experimental trend are already emerging.

Tap to earn has moved to TikTok. A relatively new project called SonicX on the Sonic blockchain (L2 on Solana) has gained over 1 million MAU.

Essentially, it’s a typical tap-to-earn game, but it is not affiliated with the official IP.

✔️ The main monetization model involves quests for users to watch content on TikTok and monetize it. A similar model was used on Telegram, but that was connected with YouTube, while in TikTok, the monetization happens on the same platform as the content.
