Reason why there are so many fake videos and news? Even because Elon Musk implemented such things on Twitter months ago, where now it's more important to make views to get money, instead of being honest and real!
Obviously this happens with other social networks that works with the concept "more views = more money", like YouTube and co.
This is not the case of Telegram, because you can even have 1 bio views, you get 0$! exactly like YouTube new / small channels, or channels refused from such programs ...
