If libtards wanted to hurt Musk's bottom line, it would make a lot more sense to orchestrate a boycott of Tesla. Vandalizing random cars on the street which have already been purchased doesn't make Tesla any less profitable.

While the former option would be more effective at achieving their stated goal, they choose the latter because it's more performative and garners approval on social media. Libtardism is solely motivated by vanity.

As much as I'm enjoying the Dark Carney memes, he's obviously no friend of mine. His government is basically just a more moderate version of the Trudeau Liberals with way better optics.

But the fact that this is all it took to wrestle a massive lead away from the Conservatives goes to show how uninspiring their outdated brand of conservatism is. Libertarianism, civic nationalism, GDP worship, and "muh values" are a dead end politically.

The Conservatives will now either have to become genuinely conservative and address the real issues people care about or doom themselves to irrelevancy.

The Trump admin and MAGA aren't fundamentally opposed to the blank-slate universalist egalitarianism of woke. They are more opposed to general standards of decorum. They don't seem motivated by coherent political goals, but simply a desire to evoke anger in the left.

This has its benefits at times such as shedding light on grooming gangs in the UK or racial violence against white South Africans. However, other rhetoric like these threats against Canada and Denmark really doesn't yield any benefits. Yet MAGA laps it up because in their mind, "winning" simply means making liberals angry. It also seems that, since they've defeated the Democrats, they need someone new to trigger to continue to maintain their anti-establishment identity.

It isn't woke to have standards of decorum and concrete political results are what matter, not a jingoistic feeling of "winning".

When you contrast that with the speech Poilievre gave a few weeks ago where he said anyone named "Mohammed" or "Patel" can be a "Canadian", it seems like the Conservatives now believe in the post-national identity even more than the Liberals.

Europe (and Canada) increasing military spending does not mean they are planning to start WWIII. It's actually a sensible policy considering the current war in Ukraine and the US showing they aren't committed to security guarantees. However, a major problem they'll face is how few people in these countries consider them worth fighting for.

While I believe the martial virtues are noble in theory, I discourage you from volunteering to join the military. These countries desperately need self-respecting white men to serve, the same people they've spent years denigrating and replacing. Conscription won't solve their problems if they have so little buy-in.

Now that we have some bargaining power, make them give us something in return. If they want us to serve in the military, we should make them give us a country worth serving before we do so.
