If this is true this is strongly suggestive of antibody-dependant enhancement (ADE), where vaccinal antibodies, through various mechanisms, are enhancing the disease state. Vaccines for SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV and RSV have never been approved, and the data generated in the development and testing of those vaccines suggested serious mechanistic concerns regarding ADE.
