women with PCOS have lower nitric oxide levels in their uterus. NO helps increase blood flow to the ovaries, reduces inflammation, and balances hormones.
Body tuning forks can help boost nitric oxide in the healing area. They also help with insulin resistance (common in PCOS) by improving blood flow to muscle tissues and increasing
glucose uptake.
This particular tuning fork doesn't make a loud audible sound. Instead, it creates a strong concentrated vibration to where you apply the fork.
To use the fork: Strike the tuning fork to activate it, then gently press the stem against your ovarian area (see below) for 20 seconds or until the fork stops vibrating. Limit to 3 times per area.
- Left ovary
- Top of uterus: 3" below the navel
- Middle of uterus: 5" below navel
- Bottom of uterus: 6" below navel (just FYI, this point is not shown in the reel)
