The Last Man

Why is it that a woman's vote is equal to a man's in the United States if women don't have to register with Selective Service, but men do? A woman can vote whichever way she choses, but she'll never have to defend her choices in battle if she doesn't want to. If women want equality, they shouldn't be allowed to vote unless they register with Selective Service.

The men who've fought on the frontlines and witnessed first-hand the cruelties of war are some of the most empathic souls that live among us. They tend to hold life in higher regard than most do after seeing its expiration lights blink and then fade.

The boys who loiter on the sidelines and condemn others for their participation in conflicts they themselves were never a part of are the lowest among us. They tend to hold life in such contempt they would sooner bring about its demise through their inaction than fight to preserve it.

You cannot truly appreciate life until you've seen it end.
