When you search for books and articles on a particular topic, don't forget about open directories.

One way to find them is to use the advanced search operator "intitle". For example:

intitle: “index of” keyword pdf

WEBMII People search engine

One of the biggest challenges for search in 2025 is the sheer amount of AI generated content. Compared to it, SEO-optimized spammy texts are starting to seem informative and valuable.

One way to search only human-written content is to search forums and discussion sites. It can be done using specialized search engines:

forumscout.app
crowdview.ai
heupperranks.com/threads
boardreader.com

Or “google dorks”:

keyword inurl:forum
keyword inurl:viewthread
keyword inurl:showthread
keyword inurl:viewtopic
keyword inurl:showtopic

"Powered by Phbb" keyword
"Powered by vBulletin" keyword
"Powered by SMF" keyword
"powered by IPB" keyword
"powered by PunBB" keyword

ZoomEyeGPT

CensysGPT, ShodanGPT...

and now another IP search engine has launched an AI tool to convert human language into queries with correct syntax.

If Google Translate/OpenAI/Deepl doesn't work well for non-Latin foreign language sources, then don't forget about Chrome's dictionary plugins. Ex:
