Memes from everyone and all to nothing.It seems that nothing can surprise me anymore. In my experience, as well as Meta's example, I realized: launching multiple tokens without any real use only hurts reputation. After all, we launched a strong $ARBUZ memtoken before it became mainstream.
What happens next? Attention to the token drops, the price drops after it, and you become a priori a scammer. Those who managed to make a profit rejoice, while those who did not manage to do so turn into investors who will most likely never get their money back. Although they are to blame themselves, the chat rooms invariably blame the creator of the token, even if the token was unprofitable for them.
No matter how many times I persuade people with projects and influence, who are not the last in the ecosystem, not to launch memcoins, they still do. And then their reputations start getting smeared all over the chat rooms with all the consequences. ๐
I certainly realize that memes are trending. But we all realize that it's:
- A shifting of money from one pocket to another;
- a feeding trough for validators and memepads;
- money for snipers and softies;
- gifts to crooks.
And even if someone says it's "just for fun," it's worth remembering that $ARBUZ was a fun project too, that was its slogan. It could have become the second $PEPE because the attention and funds were just for it, not like now on hundreds of tokens with $200K capitalization. But no one backed him at the time, back then memes weren't important or necessary for the ecosystem yet. And now what's it like for watermelon holders - fun! ๐
Remember: there's no big money in TON's of big money, and it's not coming here. Everyone who has money has fun at Solana. And if there's no money, we'll never have a token with tens of millions of TVL either.
