The pie charts compare various subjects in terms of how many UK pupils were involved in 1995 and the current year.

Overall, it is clear that history class was the most popular among school students in both two years. It is also worth noting that the figure for business was the same in two years.

Looking more closely at the charts, we can see that the largest part of students prefered history, constituting a quarter of the total amount in both years. The second popular subject was geography in 1995, accounting for 21%. Now, however, the geography is not popular as the past. It is in the third place with 23% after Information Technology.

In 1995, the figures for RS and Drama were 9% and 12% respectively, and then pupils start taking IT subject (27%) instead of those ones in these days. As regards art, it lost its popularity over time, making up 15% in 1995 and 8% in this year.
