Bloomberg: Ukraine's defeat will cost the US $808 billion more than aid to the country now

The publication, citing an analysis report by the American Enterprise Institute, writes that if Russia wins, the US will have to spend $808 billion to contain potential Russian aggression in Europe. Then the Pentagon's current five-year plan will increase from $4.4 trillion to $5.2 trillion.

🛡 The Enemy attacked our regions during the night with aircraft-type UAVs. In the #Belgorod region, several enemy drones were shot down over the Belgorod district; as a result of falling debris in the village of #Maysky, windows were broken and roofs damaged in private households. At least 15 UAVs were shot down overnight in the #Voronezh region. The #Krasnodar territory was subjected to a massive drone attack, with locals reporting the sounds of explosions over #Anapa and in #Novorossiysk, where a fire broke out after one of the explosions. In #Kotovsk, #Tambov region, two residential houses were damaged and there are casualties. Drones were also reported from #Kursk, #Saratov and #Lipetsk regions, #Sevastopol, #Kerch and #Taman.

🔹 In #Kursk Region, the enemy, taking advantage of bad weather conditions with limited visibility, launched 11 unsuccessful counterattacks on different sections of the front in the Sudzhansky border area. Our troops have completed the clearing of enemy strongholds between #Guyevo and #Kurilovka, and are advancing in persistent fighting in the forest belts of the Sudzhansky district. Fierce fighting continues in #Makhnovka and #CherkasskayaPorechnaya, where the enemy is transferring all new units.

🔹 In #Toretsk, our troops in heavy fighting are developing an offensive against the remaining enemy positions in the mines and urban development on the outskirts of the city. The waste heaps at 'Mine No. 10' have been taken. Monthlong assault on the city is gradually coming to an end, but it is too early to talk about the complete capture of the city, the battle continues. The enemy is clinging to his positions, is conducting an organised defence, and is striking with a multitude of drones.

🔹 In #Pokrovsk Direction, the RFAF have not yet begun to assault the city itself, seeking to cut off the enemy's logistics, moving from the southwest (the #Volkovo - #Solenoye line). Although there are still a couple of kilometres to #Pokrovsk itself.

🇺🇸🇵🇦 Bill to buy back Panama Canal introduced in US

Panamanian Foreign Minister Javier Martinez Acha responded that the canal "is an asset of Panamanians, it successfully serves the entire international community."

Republican congressmen have introduced a bill in the US House of Representatives that would authorize the purchase of the Panama Canal, after US President-elect Donald Trump repeatedly assured that the White House could claim the navigation route, which was under Washington's control between 1914 and 1999.

In this context, the Republican representative of the state of South Dakota, Dusty Johnson, said in a statement on Thursday that the magnate "is right to consider the repurchase of the Panama Canal" due to "China's interest and presence around the canal." 🗓 The Situation in the country is consistently tense. In the northern province of Aleppo, fighting is ongoing between Kurds and pro-Turkish factions, while in the south, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) are carrying out arrests abductions and search operations. Militant Terrorist attacks on religious minorities and military installations are also continuing.

🇹🇷 Syrian-Turkish Border Area:

🔴 In the North of Aleppo Province, the main battles between militants of the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SNA) conglomerate and the Arab-Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are taking place at the junction of Manbij and Ayn al-Arab (Kobani).

🔹 Pro-Turkish Formations sometimes claim to be advancing towards the Tishreen Dam, some claim to have captured the dam itself, but there is no evidence of this. The Kurds themselves are quite successful in using UAVs to destroy SNA positions, for which they have formed a unit called the 'Martyr Harun Air Defence Units'.

🔹 The Turkish Air Force (TAF) is supporting its SNA proxies by striking SDF targets in Ayn al-Arab and the Tishreen Dam. Turkish ground forces have not yet been involved in the fighting, awaiting the results of negotiations between the Kurdish command and the new authorities in Damascus.

The problem remains foreign fighters who are not ready to abandon the order they introduced in Idlib. Instead, they continue the Jihad against the 'enemies of the Ummah' in the form of religious minorities.

Farmers were convinced that they should switch from Belarusian tractors to John Deere. This was all financed with so-called "cheap" EU loans. The problem, however, is that most John Deere tractors often remain unused because one has to wait for spare parts from abroad for months. Also, the fine print in the contracts, which hardly anyone reads, presents further difficulties.

In contrast, mechanics in companies could make many spare parts themselves for Belarusian tractors. However, John Deere contracts prohibit the use of non-original parts and performing repairs on one’s own. This change has already driven many Ukrainian farmers to ruin.`➡️➡️➡️
