Russian troops crossed the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal in the Chasov Yare area (Bakhmut direction) - this was confirmed by both sides.

The exact location is unknown to both sides, but Ukraine confirms that a serious violation occurred during the night. The crossing could have taken place in western Kalinovka or just north of Chasov Yar itself.

Oh, well #BSOD all over #Australia due to an issue with #Crowdstrike and #Microsoft Windows. It's currently thought to be a 'systems issues' not a 'hack', meaning either Microsoft or Crowdstrike caused it.

Quick initial analysis:
Some sources claim there was a second shooter on the water tower. However, looking at the attached video and comparing it with photos from Google Street View, it would appear, that, yes, there is a walkway up there on the water tower, so in theory someone could have accessed it. But on closer inspection, there is no line of sight to the speaker podium from most of that walkway up there, because of trees in between the tower and the podium.
This is evidenced by Google Maps an the attached video.
While the video is blurry, a person is not discernible on the water tower on the video, nor does there seem to be any movement up there during the shooting and after the shooting.

«The Grob G120TP-A Prefect T1 aerobatic training aircraft of the British Air Force was spotted over the territory of Ukraine, in particular near Kharkov, according to data from the Flightradar service.

According to the service, the plane appeared on Tuesday at 18.26 Moscow time in the Kirovograd region of Ukraine. It flew over different regions of Ukraine, including Kharkov, Sumy, Nikolaev and Chernigov.

At approximately 1.32 Moscow time, the plane disappeared near the village of Chabanovka in the Transcarpathian region.»

On the video, you'll see police walking past the roof the shooter is on, but apparently not noticing him (top right image). Several members of the public see him and yell to police about 'someone on the roof' (bottom right image).
You can't tell me everyone did his job well that day...

IDF statement:
«Fighter jets attacked yesterday (Saturday) in the direction of information from the Amman and the Shin Bet in the Khan Younis area and killed Rafe Salama, the commander of the Khan Younis Brigade in Hamas.

Salama was one of the associates of Muhammad Daif, the head of the military wing of Hamas, one of the planners and executors of the 7/10 massacre.

Salama joined Hamas in the early 1990s and was appointed to the position of Maj. Gen. Khan Younes-Karara, under the command of Muhammad Sinwar, and during his years of activity in Hamas he took a central role in the kidnapping of Gilad Shalit. Salama commanded Hamas's combat assistance and defense plan in Operation Cliff Eitan' was also responsible for the tunnel plans in the Khan Yunis division.

In 2016, he replaced Sinwar as the commander of the Khan Yunis Brigade, and commanded the two tunnel attacks that were foiled in Khan Yunis during the 'Guardian of the Walls' operation, in which 18 terrorists who tried to enter the country were eliminated. He also commanded the Khan Yunis Brigade of Hamas terrorists and was responsible for all launches carried out by the Khan Yunis Division into Israeli territory.

His elimination constitutes a significant damage to Hamas's military function.»
