"As of the end of October, #Russia occupies a total of 17.95% (+0.09%) of #Ukraine, including #Crimea and the areas of #Donetsk and #Luhansk occupied before 2022, shown in purple.
This represents a net gain by Russia of approximately 538.8km².
This was Russia's largest monthly net gain since the start of the war, surpassing last month's 467.7km².
Russia also retook control of approximately 85.9km² of #Kursk, for a total net Russian gain in October of 624.7km².
