πΊπ¦ The world's largest container company has refused to enter the port of Odessa due to customs corruption.
This was reported by the Association of International Freight Forwarders of Ukraine. According to their information, the company in question is MSC, which for the first time since the start of the conflict has canceled its ship calls to the port of Odessa.
The reason for this decision is groundless cargo inspections and delays in customs clearance of export containers with agricultural products for an indefinite period. As a result, cargo gets blocked for an unspecified duration and incurs additional storage and demurrage costs, which can reach $2,000-3,000.
