You can also just do well with your primary and secondary based on human hunting and then your third can just be a .22 or .410 for hunting and utility. Or you can just go gigga chad and use the judge for all roles.

The ammo choice is a debate of the ages, if you wish to stockpile 5k rounds for your primary and secondary you can choose whatever you wish but 5.56 and 9mm will be very common at the start, other less known rounds will likely be available much later than the most common since the common ones will either be hoarded or shot. So if you wanna spend some money on ammo you can choose whatever caliber you wish but even if you do choose a 9mm and 5.56 you should have 1k rounds minimum because nobody is gonna be handing them out to you.

Take down isnt a requirement but a huge plus, it you have the right bag it will come with straps on the side that will hold your rifle or just use a sling.

Real shit though if we're talking bug out, is a combo of a glock + a pistol calibre carbine of choice.

The Ruger PCC is a takedown rifle and can fit in any bag easily while your glock is on your hip.

AR-9 might even be small enough to go in a bag without takedown.

Either way: same magazine, and same ammo.

Get some long dong magazines and now you're also ready to deal with crowds you happen to find on your stroll.

Ruger 10/22 or any other semi auto .22 will do fine magazine fed is a big plus as well. SKS like in the image above is a good choice but it would be better as a man hunting gun but would do the job on medium game. Any pistol caliber take down, there is this one .22 and 410 break down single shot that would be amazing.
