Catoptric Tristesse

With all the love he can muster, he gazed into her eyes. Eagerly she waits for the words she longed to hear for the longest time. Though their hearts embraced the words left unspoken, he just smiled. Serenaded by Love,
silence ensues.

He silently disappeared into the mist from whence he came. The air filling with the fragrance of the blooms he left behind. With eyes closed, our Milady smiles. Her first Knight came to her in a surreal dream, or so she thought. True Love’s tale reaches Wizard land, As the Winds of Change traverse through valleys and vales. With a thoughtful look on his sage countenance, in hushed voices, heads bowed words exchanged too low for a curious pixie’s ear.

Feels like déjà vu, a surreal reality.
Confidence in his stride, the First Knight reaches Milady’s side.
From his quilted coat, a poesy in pixie’s hand, Without much ado, the honeyed words of Love.
With tears in their eyes, the realization of Destiny’s dream.

𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗘

✧✦ Pasărea Măiastră roused this pixie from a dreamless slumber.
With trepidation in my heart,
I read a missive from her Milady.
Gentle words exchanged, loving hearts laid bare. With tears in my eyes, this pixie finally smiles.

It may or may not be the Witches' brew or was it the persistent whispers, maybe?
But the winds of change came
with this lovely change of heart.
The fairy god finally heard our passionate pleas.

For her First Knight, this affectionate poesy.

In one enchanted realm,
you'll find a heart no longer in chains. On the  wings of your love, she is ready to soar.
Fear not my gentle chevalier, Lady Luck smiles. The shadows have lifted, clouds no longer hide the sun's bright light.

So hurry now, for Milady awaits.
To hear once more the magical words burst forth from her First Knight's loving lips. ⊰
