• मखाना (Fox Nut / Lotus Seeds): बिहार का प्रमुख उत्पाद, सुपरफूड माना जाता है।

• स्वास्थ्य लाभ: प्रोटीन और एंटीऑक्सीडेंट से भरपूर, हृदय स्वास्थ्य, वजन प्रबंधन, डायबिटीज नियंत्रण में सहायक।

• उत्पादन: भारत में कुल उत्पादन का 90% से अधिक बिहार (मुख्यतः मिथिला और सीमांचल क्षेत्र) में होता है।

• GI टैग: बिहार के मखाने को 2022 में GI टैग मिला, जिससे इसकी वैश्विक पहचान बढ़ी।

🟢About International Narcotics Control Board (INCB)

-INCB was set up in 1968 by the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs of 1961.
-State Headquarters – Vienna, Austria
-INCB has 13 members elected by the Economic and Social Council for a period of five years.
-10 members are elected from a list of government nominees.
-The other 3 members are experts in medical, pharmacological, or -pharmaceutical experience from a list nominated by WHO.
-INCB basically cooperates with the world governments to ensure that adequate supplies of drugs are available for medical and scientific uses.
