At least five people, including three workers from World Central Kitchen (WCK), were killed following an Israeli bombardment targeting a vehicle in Khan Yunis city, southern Gaza Strip.
This incident follows previous attacks on WCK workers, as in early April, seven staff members were killed in an earlier strike that targeted them in Deir Al-Balah, central Gaza Strip.
World Central Kitchen founder José Andrés stated regarding the incident that Israel is engaged in a “war against humanity itself,” and the attack “is no longer about the seven men and women of World Central Kitchen who were killed in this unfortunate event. This is happening for way too long.”
