Gifts. Users can now send gifts to each other – celebrating holidays and achievements with animated artwork and custom messages.

Gifts are purchased with Telegram Stars – recipients can choose to display gifts on their profile or convert them back to Stars for their own balance.

To send a gift, open the user's profile and tap ➕/➕> Send a Gift. When sending a gift you can hide your name – making it so only the recipient is able to see who sent it.

Communities that host giveaways receive boosts in return, allowing them to unlock perks like posting stories.

Channel owners can start a giveaway via Channel Settings > Statistics > Boosts. For groups, go to Group Info > Statistics > Boosts.

Super Channels. Channel owners can make their feed look more like a group – letting admins post as their own profiles or other channels.

This allows multiple authors to personalize their posts – or combine communities from several content creators.

Admins in Super Channels are still anonymous – they are never visible unless they explicitly choose to post with their own profile.

To enable this functionality, go to Channel Settings > Administrators, turn on Sign Messages and Show Authors' Profiles.

Tapping a location tag opens other public stories from the same place – to see more concert selfies or restaurant recommendations.
