Today I have the pleasure to introduce you to Hydrogram, a Python library designed for smooth interaction with Telegram's MTProto API, which is being developed in collaboration with two friends. Hydrogram was born months ago as an idea of mine to create a "successor" to Pyrogram, which has been outdated for 8 months. Hydrogram will do everything differently and our main intention is to listen to the community. We will also be open to contributions, something Pyrogram definitely is not.

You can already use Hydrogram without complications today. It's quite simple to migrate a project from Pyrogram to Hydrogram, but make no mistake: Hydrogram is not just another fork of Pyrogram — we’re going beyond that.

It’s done (or almost): My new bot for the @SamFirm channel that will be responsible for sending notifications about new firmwares for Samsung Galaxy devices.

There is still a lot to improve, but the experimental code is already available on GitHub, for now the only functionality of its is sending notifications to the channel when new firmwares are detected.

A major update of Gojira (@PyGodzillaBot)!

I have been working hard to re-write the Gojira base using aiogram instead of pyrogram in the last few weeks. This change will make the bot more stable and compatible with the latest features of bot API.

You may not notice much difference as a user yet, but the bot is now faster and more efficient. I have implemented some performance improvements that seem to be working well.

I hope you enjoy using the bot and stay tuned for more updates. I’m planning to add a feature that will allow you to log in with Anilist and manage your lists through the bot.

A project started by my friend with the intention of re-writing the first bot I made for Telegram. Give a star in the repository as an incentive, I am also assisting him in the project.
