Joint IDF and ISA announcement:

IDF, ISA, and Israel Border Police forces concluded a two day long counterterrorism operation in the area of Tulkarm.

During the operation, IAF aircraft struck a number of armed terrorist cells on several different occasions. Additionally, IDF soldiers eliminated two additional terrorists during close-quarter encounters, dismantled dozens of improvised explosive devices hidden beneath roads , apprehended a number of suspects, and confiscated weapons.

Among the eliminated terrorists were: Qusai Amin Ibrahim Oqasha, a senior terrorist in the Tulkarm terrorist network, who replaced the terrorist Tarek Doush who was eliminated last week in a joint IDF and ISA aerial strike.
Along with Qusai, the terrorists Jomaa Salam Ubaid and Imran Harun, an additional senior terrorist in the terrorist network were eliminated.

The Israeli security forces will continue to operate in offense and in defense to maintain the security of Israeli citizens.

IDF: Overnight, with the direction of IDF intelligence, the IAF conducted a precise strike on a vehicle with an Islamic Jihad terrorist cell inside in the area of Nuseirat.

Prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians, including the use of precise munitions, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence.

The IDF will continue to operate against Hamas in defense of the citizens of Israel.

IDF: A short while ago, with the direction of IDF and ISA intelligence, the IAF and IDF artillery conducted a precise strike on Hamas terrorists in the area of Gaza City.

The terrorists exploited the area to plan and execute an explosive drone attack against IDF troops in an imminent time frame.

Prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians, including the use of precise munitions, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence.

This is a further example of the Hamas terrorist organization’s systematic abuse of civilian infrastructure and the Gaza population in violation of international law. The IDF will continue to operate against Hamas in defense of the citizens of Israel.

בתום חילופי אש – מחבלים הסגירו את עצמם באזור שכם

כוחות מסתערבי מג"ב איו"ש וצה"ל פעלו בהכוונת שב"כ באזור שכם. במהלך הפעילות, הכוחות פתחו בנוהל "סיר לחץ" על מבנה וניהלו חילופי אש עם מחבלים שהתבצרו בתוכו.

בתום חילופי האש המחבלים הסגירו את עצמם יחד עם שני רובים מסוג M-16. הכוחות פשטו על המבנה ואיתרו ערכה להפעלת מטענים, מחסניות וציוד צבאי. בנוסף, הלוחמים ירו ופגעו במחבל חמוש.

בפעילות של מסתערבי מג"ב ירושלים, לוחמי צה"ל ושב"כ באלעמרי שבבנימין, עצרו הכוחות תשעה מבוקשים והחרימו אמצעי לחימה. במהלך הפעילות, הכוחות ירו בחשוד שהתקרב לעבר הכוחות והיווה איום.

כמו כן, במהלך פעילות כוחות הביטחון בטמון שבבקעת הירדן במהלך הלילה, כלי טיס של חיל האוויר תקף חוליית מחבלים שהטמינה מטענים במרחב, מחבל נוסף חוסל.

RT @cogatonline: We are continuing our efforts to assist the @UN aid organizations with collecting aid from the Kerem Shalom crossing:

For the past couple of weeks, we’ve been facilitating the collection of aid from the Kerem Shalom Crossing through the Philadelphia Road. This comes after other efforts to assist the UN and other organizations in collecting aid waiting on the Gazan side of Kerem Shalom, and as a response to the criminal looting challenges in the area.

Through 5 unique coordinations, 388 trucks of aid were collected from the Kerem Shalom Crossing, traveled along the Phildelpia road and then distributed in the Humanitarian area.

With approximately 800 trucks worth of aid currently waiting for collection at the Kerem Shalom Crossing. We are working to facilitate the delivery of aid to those who need it as quickly as possible.

We are committed to facilitating humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza and will continue to work in collaboration with the UN and other organizations to facilitate the collection and distribution of aid.
