At Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport (where many Israelis have been over the past year), a curious incident occurred, as reported by the Lebanese television channel LBC.
Brigadier General Fadi Kfouri, head of airport security, ordered a check of the Iranian delegation's guards. When they refused, citing diplomatic immunity, he closed all the gates of the VIP lounge, blocking the entrance and exit.
It is not yet clear how it all ended, but the incident itself is curious.
