Historically only 6 Lebanese governments didn't have Shia representation in them. They were in:
- 1951
- 1952
- 1958
- 1968

And let's be clear. If the Shia parliamentarians who were voted by the people don't support this government, all 26 of them. This means Shia aren't represented if a new gov is formed without them.

Dislike this? Make a new census in Lebanon and drop the sectarian distribution and let everyone take his real popular size and end this BS.

🇱🇧 What about Hezbullah and Amal? They feel betrayed by everyone.

While Hezbullah's MP Raad, a father of a martyr in this war, clearly expressed the parties are trying to exclude and isolate them...

... Parliament Speaker Berri was mad and refused to comment after consultations with the president.

Mohammed Alloush:
"The agreement was overturned, and therefore all the guarantees that the Hezbullah/Amal received could be nullified"

That's all aside, I want to highlight something and I genuinely hope it is clear to everyone.

The hypocrisy of how everyone is calling it a new era, yet those candidates are supported by every single civil war warlord or political party that came after the civil war and participated in every single government before.

It was not a new opposition, it is literally everyone. From Kataeb, to Gaegae, to Aoun, to Joumblat.

It's everyone vs Hezbullah and always what it was politically...vs Hezbullah.

🇱🇧 Let's be clear, now, everyone that was happy about the Israeli war on Hezbullah hoping it is defeated and nullified is hoping they can attack it and defeat internally.

The goal is clear. Strip Hezbullah from its popular support.

Lebanese Forces MP, Razie Al-Hajj:
“It is our responsibility to liberate the Shiite sect from the hands of Hezbullah. They are our people and Lebanese like us.”

And so today, he also speaks that the Lebanese Government doesn't have to be accepted by the Shia and that the Lebanese charter is about religious not sects.

As in Christians and Muslim, not Maronite, Shia, Sunni, orthodox, etc. This is a big lie.

Geagea said:
"There is no objection to the Shiites not agreeing to the government, as it remains complete in its specifications."

Yet the hypocrite in another tweet says" We will not accept a government without the Shia" here: https://x.com/DrSamirGeagea/status/1878862708482678963

This is as I explained and discussed yesterday, what Mark Dauo said. They will attempt to disregard the parties which represent the Shia and go with no-bodies born Shia.

🇱🇧 Gaegae continues his bold and threatening tone, saying that Hezbullah can only participate in new Lebanese government if it becomes an exclusively political party

His recent speeches all imply he's high on Israel's attacks on Hezbullah and the hope that by the end of this war Hezbullah will crumble.

This is the rhetoric in Lebanon today.

🇱🇧 Head of the Christian party in Lebanon Geagea:
"We accept a session to elect a president in which the Shiite sect does not participate, and the constitution permits this, as does the National Charter."

Not only is this rhetoric very dangerous to sideline a 1/3rd of the population, it is a precedent because always Christians not only demanded 50% of power in Lebanon, they never accepted any decision to be taken unless they are able to weigh in under the pretext of sunni-shia-christian-druze agreement.

📸 New Israeli demolitions in Yaroun

🥀 Aitarouns women, children, and civilian men

🥀 Aitatoun town, mourned in this war 118 of its sons, women, and children.

Immense pains and great sacrifices.

❗️ Initial reports of an Israeli drone strike on a motorcycle in Aitaroun town.

The town I think is still contested, not yet under Lebanese control. So not sure.

🇮🇱l🇵🇸 After successful ambushes, the IDF acknowledges that 5 soldiers were killed in Beit Hanoun in Gaza and 10 others injured.

In another incident, 10 soldiers were injured including 8 seriously.

So far in Gaza:
- 405 Israeli soldiers were killed in the ground invasion of Gaza Strip

- 55 of them were killed in the current IDF operation in the northern Gaza Strip that started in October during the war in Lebanon

- 15 of them killed this week in Beit Hanon only

55 killed in the past 3 months is almost more than the remaining living hostages in Gaza

🥀 Tayr Harfa's toll is almost close to Khiyam's toll but the towns are totally different and had different outcomes.

🥀 The bodies of 11 Hezbullah members were founded today in Tayr Harfa, similar to yesterday's toll.

The town is small and witnessed limited clashes, which could indicate the airstrike heavily impacted the defenders.

The body of one Hezbullah member was also found in Shamaa town.

✍ I did notice that Hezbullah didn't have a lot of tunnels, likely because south Lebanon is hard rock and isn't discrete.

❗️Sirens are sounding in several West Bank settlements following a ballistic missile launch at Israel from Yemen.

🇱🇧l🇮🇱 US-led ceasefire (Israel-Hezbollah) monitoring mechanism based in Beirut expected to continue operating after Trump administration takes office on Jan. 20, per Pentagon

Just yesterday, media reported that senior Trump admin officials have told Israel that the President-elect wants calm in Lebanon and Syria in order to focus on domestic issues, per Israeli media reports

📸 Documentation of the hostile Israeli incursion operations in the western neighborhood of the town of Mays al-Jabal, with the involvement of tanks and infantry forces, which included shooting, hand grenade explosions, and the burning of some houses.

Photos: https://t.me/alichoeib1970/13009?single

As you can see, majority of the houses are intact and at risk of being lost a mere two weeks before the withdrawal.

This is in regards to everything. Honestly it's not the end of the world.

If the West and Arabs are happy, let it be. If the U.S and Arabs are satisfied let it be.

If this is what it takes for the situation in general for us, Lebanese, to become better let it be. Really there is no political differences aside the matter of arms.

Yes Hezbullah is not at optimal conditions, and Sheikh Naim is under immense pressure with the fall of allied Syria and the war losses, however they can manage well and even extend a hand to Aoun and Nawaf.

The issue isn't political for Hezbullah, but everyone else is treating this as end of an era of Hezbullah as if Hezbullah was ruling Lebanon and they finally got rid of him.

Let things plays and we'll see how things go. As long as the Jews sideline themselves, all internal matters can be dealt with through adequate dialogue.

I'm not pro-Mikati nor is Hezbullah, he's only the "man you know".

What I care now, is to highlight something.

Nawaf might be a good man as long as he doesn't put the state vs Hezbullah, but what I find interesting how everyone is hailing his nomination as a new era.

Dears, the ones who voted for him are the corrupt Druze leader Walid Joumbalt, the civil war warlord.

FPM, whom you always accused (falsely and not) of corruption. The 2019 "protests" was against them.

The Lebanese Forces Party and Kataeb. Etc etc. Makhzoumeh, Etc etc

This is not a new era lol, that's 14-March born again and post-Hariri's murder 2005 again.
