I like the trend towards creative professions, since many of our daily tasks would be automated (just think of how many drivers would be left without jobs if (I would even say when) we would switch to self-driving cars and trucks.

At the same time it would be great if more kids got excited about fundamental sciences like physics, biology and maths.

Talked to a friend from retail business yesterday - she told me there are less and less young people who come to work as shop assistants and if they come, they only work for a few weeks and then leave their jobs to become bloggers.

Do you see this trend in your community? Most of my friends are already bloggers haha!

It’s important to learn to reach higher goals and get rid of the thoughts like “I don’t deserve it”, “I am not that good”, etc.

I have a problem that I cannot believe in my own ability to do certain things until I meet someone who has done that already.

I need to talk to that person, ask a lot of questions, make sure they are real and - voilà - I become confident that I would be able to reach their level as well.

I had the same problem back in 2014 - I thought it would be impossible to get a full scholarship to do my masters in the USA until I saw another student’s video where she shared her story of getting full financial assistance. And I gave it a shot.

This is a picture of @danlok and I - his company makes over $10,000,000 a year. It sells services, so there aren’t many costs. I would say he takes home at least $100,000 a month. Motivated me hugely to reach my personal income goal!

8 years in business (wow, can’t believe we actually started in 2011 at the age of 21) and still learning.

My current areas of much-needed growth:

(1) hiring and finding the right people faster

(so far my team and I mastered a skill of fast firing - we give a candidate around a month or two to prove herself and then we part ways, because dragging someone just drains resources out of the team. I am glad all of my companies combined are over 80 people strong, and some of them are like family already).

But making less mistakes during interviews is something I am still looking to master. Any books on that topic?

(2) marketing - this is a life-long process, I learn something new all the time (mostly while watching what other companies/entrepreneurs do, the best way, by the way).

⚠️Who I am looking for at the moment:

- Sales manager for my YouTube and Instagram (advanced English, experience in sales. Apply here - http://bit.ly/saleslinguamarina)

- Courses manager (native-speaker, based

What’s been going on:
- I can only work for 2 hours a day max, which means I can barely answer my texts and emails and record a video for my course, if I am lucky. However, this helps a lot with prioritizing things
- Emily has attended a conference call with us - she was pretty vocal! She has also attended a business meeting, which she enjoyed a lot, since it was outside
- We have another business meeting in Silicon Valley with @grishin later this week - we’ll see how it goes

I have a girl who comes and helps us with cooking and cleaning three times a week - but I wish she could just live with us (that’s what a lot of people do here, especially by having an au pair come and stay with the family - google it!)

I don’t like the idea of having a nanny right now - I want Emily to spend as much time as possible with us, even if this means attending investor and business meetings 🚀

P.S. Emily is 2 weeks old in the photo!
