Her remarks were made on the deck of the USS Howard destroyer while visiting the largest overseas US Navy installation in the world – at Yokosuka, near Tokyo.

US Presses EU Countries to ‘Speed Up Aid’ to Ukraine (reports)

The US has already given $8.5bn economic aid to Kiev and is seeking further support for Ukraine’s economy. Requesting an additional $4bn in grants from Congress and reportedly using the UNGA session to hold meetings with European nations to fix their funding bottlenecks.

Ukrainian PM Denys Shmyhal has informed the European Council that Kiev needs $3.5bn each month - with the 🇺🇸 campaigning for this to be in the form of grants, not loans.

India Poised for Double-Digit Pay Rises in 2023 - Survey

The predicted hike reflects corporate India’s confidence in its business performance, Roopank Chaudhary of Aon said - the human capital solutions firm behind the survey. (Reuters)
