Did Netflix use AI to produce a True Crime Doc?

People on social media are complaining that Netflix has used AI-generated images in a new true crime doc ‘WHAT JENNIFER DID’ to present Jennifer Pan as happy & confident before she was convicted of murder.

It is difficult to know exactly what has gone on in the editing process but it could be that the producers had one image and used it as a source picture to make more “photos”, according to Petapixel. But the use of AI tools is not disclosed in the credits.

Oil prices spike after Israel strikes Iran

Global prices for crude oil jumped by as much as 3.5% shortly after Israel carried out a series of strikes on Iran in the early hours of Friday.

Both oil benchmarks soared over $3 a barrel in early trading before retreating. By 12:00 GMT, Brent crude oil futures for June delivery were down $0.50 at $86.63 per barrel. The May contract for US West Texas Intermediate dropped $0.43, or 0.52%, to $82.30 per barrel.

Israel launched an attack on Iranian territory in the early morning hours, a senior US official confirmed in an interview with ABC News.

Tehran’s response to any Israel attack will be ‘at maximum level’ — FM

Speaking to CNN, Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said Tehran’s military reaction would be “immediate and at a maximum level,” should Israel continue the chain of retaliatory strikes between them.

“In case the Israeli regime embarks on adventurism again and takes action against the interests of Iran, the next response from us will be immediate and at a maximum level,” Amir-Abdollahian said.

“We do not seek to create tension and crisis or increase such situations in the Middle East and we sincerely hope the Israeli regime does not repeat the previous egregious error,” he added, referencing the IDF strike against Tehran’s Damascus consulate.
