Sheikh Muqbil Al-Wadi'ee used to say to his students:

"Oh my children, if knowledge could be poured into a glass, I would pour it for you,
but it is not obtained -
except by hard work,
exhaustion,
and scraping of the knees"

[Nubdhah Mukhtasarah -
By Umm ‘Abdillaah (Daughter of Sheikh Muqbil) , pg. 44]

Finally he entered the city of mukallah

He wanted to take the private car through this border which is pretty safe with the stabilised omani 🇴🇲 government and see the land scape with his family

But the easier route is from jeddah saudi 🇸🇦 by a quick plane to siyoun where most centres of knowledge including sheikh Yahya’s Markaz is

Or a bus to aden the city of aden port from Saudi also the route many students take

May Allah make everyone's affairs easy in seeking that which would aid then protect their religion amd their Aakhira

Just a reminder for the brothers and families that are in the process of coming, Allahumabarik there is many of you and the numbers are increasing, May Allah make us all sincere and allow us to benefit from our time spent in the lands of Islam and allow us to obtain beneficial knowledge.

1) Please do not attempt to book your flights before you have your Visas and Security documents (your flights will be cancelled and not refunded if the papers don’t arrive in time)

2) Message Abu Maryam (other Admin here) for Visa enquiries/Visa payments. Alhumdulillah we have a direct contact to the Passport Office. This is to protect you from being overcharged/having issues after with regards to incorrect paperwork (which has been seen before unfortunately).

May Allah aid the many brothers and families who are joining us in the path of seeking knowledge and for those who are also doing Hijrah. May Allah accept our deeds and make us sincere in seeking the pleasure of Allah Azzawajal

For those of you who currently live in the U.K., I strongly advice that you try to attend.
The speakers have travelled from Canada and are from the Students of Damaaj in Yemen Allahumabarik. The brothers have also catered for sisters with a Sisters lecture too,
May Allah reward them.

NOTE:
Check the Cost of Living information in this Telegram, so as to not be overwhelmed- and to realise that the cost of living is very little here alhumdulillah, a very small fraction of the West, May Allah put barakah in our Rizq

May Allah put barakah in our Rizq, and allow us to spend that which Allah has given us in ways that gain the pleasure of Allah.

Question:
How can one seek knowledge and seek an income in Yemen, are there Jobs available?
Do we need a permit to work?
How will I suffice myself?

Answer:
بسم لله الرحمن الرحيم

Alhumdulillah, one can seek knowledge and earn money while they are in Yemen. There are many ways one can do this, as for having a job where you work for someone else this isn’t recommended as you can imagine the wages aren’t ideal. However, what a lot of brothers do is they have their own businesses - this is where they are into trading/wholesaling. The key would be to find a product in Yemen to sell elsewhere for a profit as things are cheaper here alhumdulillah (eg Honey varieties which are much more expensive in the U.K./US/Saudi)

If one isn’t into trading and wholesaling, you can buy your own land and have your own farm, and raise and sell livestock, you can also work from home, if you have a skill such as in IT, you can freelance (eg website development, backend/front end developer, online businesses, middle man services, advertisement/online marketing, graphic design) and provide IT services online globally.

Some people (including sisters) cook different types of foods, homemade food, burgers/street food, deserts and they sell these to the Tulaab/mostly other foreigners. And some of them are very busy Allahumabarik. (for example, there is one brother who makes burgers and another sister that makes fresh donuts in Seiyun)

Alhumdulillah there are many options in ways one can seek Rizq in the lands of the Muslims, and Yemen does not require one to have a specific visa to work/start a business.

It’s also important to remember that one should not spend all of his time in their affairs of a job and remember that seeking knowledge comes first. Your Rizq is already written for you, at a time while you were still in the womb of your mother (Sahih al-Bukhari 3208) so take your means of attaining it but don’t over indulge at the expense of compromising what Allah has made obligatory for you. In addition to this, seeking knowledge is one of the ways of one can attain Rizq

Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: There were two brothers during the time of the Prophet ﷺ. One of them used to come to the Prophet ﷺ and the other used to work to earn a living. Once, the working brother complained to the Prophet ﷺ about his brother (as only he was doing all the work, and his brother was spending his time with the Prophet ﷺ).
Thereupon, the Prophet ﷺ replied: *"Perhaps you are granted sustenance because of him."*
Sahih - [At-Tirmidhi]

And know that the Prophet ﷺ revealed that a soul will not die until your provision has reached you…the Rizq that was written for you while you were in the womb of your mothers will surely reach you.

The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ said, “Verily, Jibril inspired in my mind that a soul will never die until it finishes its term and *consumes its provision*. Thus, be graceful in seeking provision and let not one of you allow the delay of provision to compel him to seek it by disobedience. Verily, Allah does not grant what is with Him but by obedience.” (Sahih - Albaani)

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Were the son of Adam to flee from his provision as he flees from death, *his provision would surely reach him just as death will reach him*.”
(Hasan - Albaani)

And Allah says in the Quran:
“And whosoever fears Allâh and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). And He will *provide him from (sources) he never could imagine*. And whosoever puts his trust in Allâh, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allâh will accomplish his purpose. Indeed Allâh has set a measure for all things. {Surah Talaq}

So be patient, seek your means, know that Allah is the controller of All affairs, and that how and when you will receive your Rizq is by the Will of Allah - Ar Razzaaq. And know that by leaving the West and Darul Kufr, and leaving something for the sake of Allah, Allah will replace it with better and have good thoughts of Allah.

This was a question to sheikh AbdulHameed Az Zu'kari who has a beautiful centre of knowledge called markaz sahaba in the city of mahra Yemen

Question

A brother would love to make hijra to the centre of darul sahaba

What are the conditions for acceptance

The sheikh says he should be upon salafiyyah, The one who loves good, a student of knowledge, a person who is safe from ideologies of the khawaarijj, and those ideologies that are not pleasing!

Glad tidings to Masjid Muqbil Al-Waadi'ee in Harrow...possibly!

There was a brother who was sleeping under Sheikh Muqbil’s masjid (an English brother who studied under Sheikh Muqbil al Waadi'ee alongside Sheikh Yahyaa). He saw in a dream that he was in Sheikh Muqbil’s room and the Sheikh was using one of those old black telephones which had very heavy handsets and heavy bases and he was talking to someone on it. The brother was very surprised because not only was the Sheikh speaking in English but he was speaking in what is known as the Queen's English, posh English.

The brother was looking at the Sheikh quite amazed and as if Sheikh Muqbil could read what the brother had in his mind, he was saying to him with his body language or what the brother was reading on his face, "Don't you know that I could always speak English? I just didn't let on to you as I was afraid you all wouldn't have learnt Arabic."

When the brother woke up, he went to the Sheikh and told him the dream. Later on two other brothers who were there in Dammaaj from Britain came to him and told him they also had similar dreams.

So told this to Sheikh who was teaching at the time. On hearing it, he said, on the microphone, so that everyone in the masjid heard it,

"This is a sign that this d'awah or he said, "my d'awah" (the brother can't be sure now) will be successful in Britain.” The noble رحمه الله then said, "Translate my books into English!."

The brother who had the dream is currently in Seiyuun, Yemen. His name is Aboo Dawood Ibn George Gauron حفظه الله

Question:
Can someone single get married in Yemen? Is it hard to get married?

Answer:
بسم لله الرحمن الرحيم

Alhumdulillah, many of the foreigners (people from the West, Africa, Asia, Europe) have gotten married here both to Yemenis and to other foreigners (some to multiple, alhumdulillah there is a brother here from the West with 3 wives and nearly 14 children Allahumabarik) . So yes, marriage is possible in Yemen, in fact there are many advantages to doing so. One for example is that she has already been living here so she is accustomed to her surroundings, her family is also here so there’s no need to go back to the west to “visit her parents”. So in this it aids one in his Hijrah (for the future) and makes his studying a lot easier alhumdulillah.

The most important thing one needs to get married here is a Tazkiyyah (references). A father will allow his daughter to marry a man who is known to be righteous alhumdulillah. And this is found out by references, alhumdulillah if there are from the Ikhwa that can be a reference for you - alhumdulillah. One way to aid this is to remain in one place, this enables brothers to get to know you, so they can vouch for you.

Additionally, you can find very righteous amongst those here alhumdulillah, those who grew up without the fitnah of Social Media/Netflix/YouTube. Many of which have never had a mobile phone, the custom for some is that when married, the husband buys her a phone so that he may contact her. But before this, she did not own a phone alhumdulillah. Additionally the norm here is that those practicing cover their face, eyes and hands. As for those who show THE EYES ALONE, the people classify her as “Awaam”, not practicing/salafi - normal folk. The people here are apon their true nature in Gender roles, and Men and Women understand their place and responsibilities.

NOTE: One must remember this is not ALL women in Yemen, I am just highlighting some of the Customs that still can be found. Also remember that one must be patient in finding a wife, have good thoughts of Allah. It is easy for Allah to grant you a righteous wife, so turn to Him sincerely ask Him to make this affair easy for you

May Allah grant us righteous spouses, and allow us to be a means for our future spouses to attain Jannah.
