In a Spectator puff piece, Badenoch clarifies that she identifies ethnically as a Yoruban, not nationally as a Nigerian. Nigeria has 371 ethnic groups and over 500 languages.

She is not close to British food culture either, declaring sandwiches 'not real food' and disliking bread.

First he brought his - no doubt large - immediate family. Now through Judicial Review (and Legal Aid) he's seeking to bring 15 members of his extended family. The application keeps getting refused and the High Court keeps overturning it and sending it back to them to reconsider. Now multiply this by the 30k + Afghanis who've already been resettled here.

Thoughts? They don't seek to quantify the risks or costs here. Torn between criticising this attempt at equivalence and wondering of the social benefit arguments of making the case for our women to seek to have children in their twenties.

Both should be pushed into the public sphere, I guess.

The DT when you dig into their articles though, increasingly have a subtext there aimed at manipulating their readership, which generally isn't aligned with us.

A deeper issue than NHS costs etc. is regarding extended family and clan-based societies versus individualistic societies. England (/Britain) is a significant outlier even amongst other European countries. Euros have imported people who organise around family, clan, tribe (or proxies like religion) into societies with people who are more individualistic. Sailer and many others have noted this. It fundamentally changes how societies are organised, through a spectrum of allegiances. Look at the Pakistani Biraderi system, for instance. It's made worse by Euros versus non-Euros (obligations going outwards in concentric circles) in forming implicit alliances to extract resources and increase power bases from the former.

I admit I've seen the criticisms of 'seed oils' in our circles and just assumed that there wasn't much to it. But it's breaking cover and will look into. Only use it for (rare) chips, tbf. Otherwise, lard, olive, coconut.
