This chat is dedicated to research around economics/governance/tech and projects in general. And moderate degening 🦄 Please, no subjective baseless opinions, like "dev seems capable" or "i think they are cool" or “ye this is great” = those 99% of the time are not proper arguments.
Note 💡 L2-sidechain-etc. discussions are now heavily moderated as you can find all hot xdai-matic-bsc-fantom-rollups hot takes in the chat history. The same goes for CBDC topics, where political discussion result in spam most of the time. Links to proper research or data are totally cool to share, but please be careful with starting random banters about how you think governments will implant 5G chips & stuff like that 🙂
1] We do not advise each other to buy or sell random stuff in a form of "look at this lowcap coin, might be on Binance soon" - this is not analytical approach, that's gambling.
2] We do not discuss stuff like "oh this coin partnered with some company, so soon we will see Forbes articles and it will go up". While this is true in bull market, we don't gamble like this here. Enjoy your profits, but this simply brings to nothing new or interesting to discuss.
3] If you want to share that some catalysts are coming to the sector as a whole (not a coin pump on news stuff), you can do it in a more quantative manner. If we talk about marketcaps or fully filuted valuations, bring up more data. Basically, data-driven approach to shilling is a bit better, so that's fine. More data, less subjective couch-investor.
4] Please stay away from one-line replies like "oh ok" or "thx" or "lol" or emoji replies 👹. That pollutes the chat.
5] We do not TA here, like at all. We do not disriminate against TA, but we just don't do it here.
6] Discussing your own positions of when you sold or bought is not toooo welcome, but sometimes it fits the theme as a meme of "sold the bottom". Just don't overdo it blz.
Honestly, memes and fun are also very welcome, we constantly break the lines ourselves. But it's just good to keep the chat not uniswap-degen style but stick to real value long-term. For NFT discussions, go to @NFT_avenue.
