Frankie and Johnny is a murder ballad, a traditional American popular song.

It tells the story of a woman, Frankie, who finds her man Johnny making love to another woman and shoots him dead. Frankie is then arrested; in some versions of the song she is also executed.

While I'm not usually into Afghan and Tajik music,
I couldn't help but love this song.
Give it a listen, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Two days ago, I watched the final third of an Afghan movie "Hava Maryam Ayesha".
As the credits rolled, a captivating song played, reaching deep into my heart.
I was so moved by it that I immediately searched for the song and its singer, but to my surprise, I couldn't find any information about this angelic melody or the song itself!
So my inner Thanos said "fine... I do it myself".
I downloaded the movie and long story short, here it is.
