American commentator Tucker Carlson has condemned Israeli politician Moshe Feiglin, a former deputy speaker of the Knesset, over remarks suggesting that killing Palestinian babies in Gaza would be morally justified.

Carlson highlighted an interview in which Feiglin advocated the complete removal of Palestinians from Gaza and Israeli annexation of the territory.

Feiglin compared his proposed approach to the Allied bombing of Hamburg and Nagasaki during World War II. Carlson denounced the remarks and questioned why Netanyahu had not publicly challenged such rhetoric from a political ally.

Israel has attacked the awarding of the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize to South African jurist Navi Pillay, accusing the Norwegian Nobel Committee of legitimizing “anti-Israel hatred and prejudice.”

Pillay previously chaired a UN Commission of Inquiry that concluded in 2025 that Israel had committed genocide in Gaza.

The Nobel Committee honored Pillay for her decades-long efforts to advance international law and accountability for war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide.

UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese has warned that the scale of Israel’s bombardment of Gaza is equivalent to the explosive force of six nuclear bombs, describing the humanitarian situation as catastrophic and saying Palestinians are facing a “slow death.”

Albanese said Israeli forces continue to bombard the devastated territory, reducing rubble to dust while leaving civilians with nowhere safe to shelter.

She warned that widespread disease, malnutrition, mass displacement and the collapse of healthcare are worsening the suffering of Palestinians, with around 1.8 million people crowded into less than 30% of Gaza’s territory.

Eight countries, all allies of the United States, issued a joint statement on Friday saying that they "regret and strongly disagree" with the Trump administration's decision to impose sanctions on the International Criminal Court (ICC), hours after former ICC judge Navi Pillay was announced as the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize.

The foreign ministers of Canada, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, Japan and the United Kingdom said they appreciated the steps taken by the court to prepare for the sanctions, but warned that if implemented, they would have "significant impact on the Court's work, its dedicated staff and their families" who they say "work every day to bring those accused of the most serious international crimes to justice and to support their victims."

Israeli forces shot and wounded Anadolu Agency photojournalist Issam al-Rimawi on Saturday while he was documenting Israeli soldiers preventing Palestinian farmers from harvesting olives in Deir Abu Mesh'al, northwest of Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank.

According to Anadolu Agency, an Israeli soldier fired a rubber-coated bullet at al-Rimawi from close range, striking him in the thigh. He was subsequently taken to a nearby medical centre for treatment.
