Last Sunday, over 45 police officers mobilised and blocked access to 17 Victorian National Socialists who intended to spectate the Sunday ceremony at the Shrine of Remembrance.
Two activists were arrested, charged and later released.

Earlier that week, the government announced that, due to cost cuts, they would no longer fund our 90-year-old tradition, where at 4:45PM every Sunday, guards of the Shrine march and perform The Last Post in commemoration of the ANZACs who fought and died for our nation.

Due to public pressure, the Victorian Government later reversed its decision and announced that the tradition would continue.
