Rare but clear NS critiques on “
Americanism” by
Jospeh Goebbels, mainly “American” is a cheap label unfit for the test of history.
https://research.calvin.edu/german-propaganda-archive/goeb5.htmMost National Socialists both
in Germany and America were pro-American as the vast majority were, but you did have a small faction of critics like Eugene Talmadge who demanded secession against FDR desegregation threats in the 1930’s a decade before US entry, or HP Lovecraft who was a New England nationalist and close to early Vermont secessionism and Quebec nationalism, and Henry Lemont Beach’s localism in Oregon alongside Bob Miles an ex-Russian Fascist Organization activist who founded the Northwest Imperative in the early 1980’s. Americanism is the norm but not a natural one.
