Frens of Fear
Here is what we noticed. A long-term trend and the short-term trend for /our goy/ dissent. Online censorship doesn't delete dissent anymore than cancel culture could pretend Trump voters didn't exist. The digital space will gradually feed into an offline presence. We'll see more "shortwave" radios and imposing of ideas on friends rather than international networking. Eventually fermenting into whatever collapse theory or fantasy you might have. For the immediate future however, Durov's word should be tested. There have been any number of violent political dissenters for many causes on Telegram over the years. "Peaceful protests" are a flat out lie for these other movements. Why were American right wing channels impacted then? Simple, they're in English and there is a well-developed infrastructure for removing these by attacking from above and below. You'll never see a Swiss black market channel go under or some obscure tribal channel deleted for making threats in their uncategorized dialect. Telegram can even deny state-based censorship no problem. The main issue comes with big tech such as Google and Apple. They decide what is violence, they decide what is free speech. Not Durov, not Telegram, not any govt or even journalist. Just a handful of silicon valley types. So as a small gesture, and as a temporary measure. We should mass report Antifa channels if something like the George Floyd Riots manifest themselves again. Just to test Durov on his word and stir those people as well. Everyone has been asking "where do we all go after Telegram?". Offline, outside and in the flesh. "But what about feds?", That should literally never stop us from doing anything. And sadly, it has for years. Fear alone was their greatest weapon, not infiltration, not censorship. And then one day we discovered they're more scared of us than we are of them.
—Take note of the Elephant Rope for a draught of hope.
One day a man was visiting the zoo , while he was walking between the different animals which were either caged or tied, it caught his attention that some huge elephants are only tied to a tree with a thin rope . In his mind he wondered : how can such huge creatures like those elephants which weigh hundreds of kilos be only kept in their places with such a thin piece of thread compared to their size , meanwhile all the other animals were either caged or had huge chains around their legs ?
As he was observing all this, one of the trainers in the zoo was near by so the man reached out to him and asked: How come those huge elephants are in their place while they are tied by a thin rope and they make no attempt to escape or run away or at least walk freely around?
The trainer replied back to the man smiling and said: Let me tell you a bit of history about this. When those elephants were just babies and smaller we used to tie them with this exact rope. At that time, this rope was more than enough to restrict them from running away and to keep them exactly where we wanted them to stay.
As they grew up and became older and stronger, we used the same rope, the rest was done by the elephants themselves as-in their mind they still believed that they will be not able to un-tie themselves and they never tried to set themselves free .
Then he added : Those elephants are capable of lifting enormous weights and with just one move they would have been able to walk away but it was all in their mind. They never actually tried, their past experience shaped their future one.
Break the chains of fear. You are not alone, not as small or as weak as you think you are. Come all you young men listen to me. It's windy weather, boys, it's stormy weather, boys. When the wind blows we're all together, boys.
