Florida's Governor Ron DeSantis took credit for sending two planes carrying about 50 migrants to the wealthy island of Martha's Vineyard, the traditional summer destination for the rich and famous.

"All those people in DC, in New York were beating their chests when Trump was president, saying they were so proud to be sanctuary jurisdictions… They all of a sudden go berserk and they are so upset that this is happening… Their virtue signaling is a fraud," DeSantis said during a press event.

She stated that "until now, no country has supplied Western infantry fighting vehicles or main battle tanks."

"We have agreed with our partners that Germany will not take such actions unilaterally," she said.

Earlier, German media wrote that the United States was negotiating with its allies on the supply of modern tanks to Ukraine.
