I get the impression that many people who claim Christ see the “path of ministry” as somehow the “mature” route to take - as though one needs to be in a “ministry” if they want to serve Christ.

This is where language is used to subtly undermine the way of Christ.

Denominationalism has a brick/mortar building called a church (btw, modern architecture is soulless and ugly) and folks on payroll as the “clergy” and/or “staff.”

(To be clear: what matters most is following what God’s word says. Read it and find out).

And this subtle framing of “ministry” as having primary context of being a pastor or an elder or a staff member or etc etc has done damage to the church of Christ, in that, Christ is the WAY, and not the place. We don’t go to church. Christians are the church.

And with language giving majority consideration to a physical place where people are on payroll, there’s a lost meaning in the truth that every Christian is to labor for the Lord in their ministry (service) to Him.

(Again, to be clear: many good & faithful people work for the Lord & are paid worthy incomes at places people call churches - this is not an anti-“institutional church” post)

My meaning is that each of us have a duty to serve and obey Christ and that pattern of obedience (service) is a ministry.

Do not hold a meaning to words that remove Christmas sovereignty over any part of your life, and thereby dare to categorize this over here as “church” and what you do to provide for your family as “not ministry.”

I am a husband and father. It is patterned throughout the Bible for me to be the king of my home, to expand my territory/wealth, and to improve things for my family as a result of obeying God.

It’s not guaranteed to happen, but don’t doubt for a second that God intends blessings for His children.

Your ministry is how you serve Him. That includes a lot of things that others may not call “church.”

My teacher, Dave Jose, wrote the notice last year telling judges that they were holding unlawful tribunals and that they must dismiss and correct their mistakes.

Someone in this chat sent that notice last year.

Today, by God’s grace, the judge vacated the ruling and ordered compensation for the man wronged.

You must see this as a win and know that it is ONLY God Who gets the glory.

A simple notice.

Just words on paper.

BOOM!

A judge’s heart pricked and one man’s world changed.

No guarantees. Only faith with precision.

This is how our victories will look. They will be such that only God is credited for the win and in such a way that those who hate God will find a reason to deny it.

Give God praise.

Learn the law. Take action.

I ask for prayer for my mom (healing/getting stronger) & for me to build things that glorify God.

Remember when there were large accounts suggesting videos of politicians & celebrities being arrested & in gitmo?

There was only an audience for that bc people were that gullible and desiring justice against corruption in govt/elite circles.

If you can remember that, examine the mindset of people who believed that stuff and ask yourself “why?”

Then use that same mental model on yourself and ask “what do I believe today that I have no validated?”

This life is pain & suffering.

Not in a “God has us under a microscope intensifying sun rays against us like we are ants” kind of way, but more of a “if we persist in doing things our way then God’s ordered universe will give us the consequences” kind of way.

Pain & suffering happened to everyone in the Bible. Struggle. Challenge. Hardship. Problem-solving.

Modern America has so many temporal blessings, that it may be devastating to our faith whenever comfort is lessened.

Christ told us to carry our crosses (Matt 16:24).

That’s all about self-sacrifice. Self-emptying.

His gives us so many blessings in this life. He is merciful & gracious. The worst thing that’ll happen to me is nothing compared to what Jesus endured - and I deserve it.

The takeaway here is to build. To war righteously. To be aggressive. To focus ambition towards accomplishing hard things. To see life as fleeting and so legacy as a blessing we give others.

God is blessing us with an opportunity to do hard things. To do new things. To do powerful things. To do lasting things.

We must kill our sin by submitting to Jesus Christ the King. We must serve Him with all of our lives and everything but of power we have.

Total war.

And, amidst the battles and defeats and victories, we will catch glimpses of His majesty and goodness, and look forward to eternity where there are no tears, no sorrows, and no pain.

Until then, build.

If a society’s conditions are such that a man can’t marry a woman, father her children, and provide for them with his earnings, then the society has a cancer and it must be removed.

The blessing/birthright given by fathers to their sons in the OT is an interesting read.

Western minds - especially Americans not educated in common law - may miss the deliberateness of passing wealth from generation to generation. This is no small thing. The leadership & control of the family was a deliberate event culminating at the end of the father’s life.

Slow down and think about the deliberation of passing from one generation to the next.

It is my opinion that our society does not have this anymore. Yes, there is a passing of wealth when someone dies, but it’s nothing like the lineage-minded men of the OT.

America today is consumer driven, not kingdom driven. We buy and we gather, but we don’t build for long legacies.

I endeavor to change that.

Men are routinely attacked in America, bc a strong Christian father is the best bulwark against societal collapse; therefore, the restoration of Biblical principles and roles and purpose must be the focus of any man or woman wanting to restore this nation.

We must be deliberate about what God gives us.

Education. Finances. Evangelizing. Marriage. Property. Law.

There is so much prosperity and wealth in America because of God’s blessing the founding generation who chose to build this nation for Jesus Christ, but we are seeing God’s judgment and getting a glimpse of what may be if Christians don’t merge the Bible’s application with their lives.

Christ is not separate from your daily life. He is King over it all and demands obedience in all things.

Amen.

Now, go to war.

I dont know a lot about trades, but I'm certain that pointing young men to them is one of the most needed themes to restore America.

Fundamentally, we are now a "consumer" nation, whereas, we used to be a "producer" nation. Shifting that paradigm hinges on, I believe, the "prosperity narrative" that young men believe is true. Today, young men are taught "go to college and get a good paying job", but that's a hoax. Mass migration. Corporatocracy. DEI. All robbed the man of his first estate - king - and trained him to be subordinate.

To the contrary, a man who earns his living with a trade serves people without an overlord. Channels work to help others while retaining the paradigm of authority & responsibility.
