The Untold Story of the classic Christmas movie: It's a Wonderful Life.
I love this.
You might not know that the classic inspirational movie, It's a Wonderful Life, was actually a box office dud when it first released. Critics gave it a lukewarm reception and the writer of the book died without ever seeing it's tremendous success. It didn't become the movie beloved by millions until literally decades after its release due to the lack of a copyright renewal for just four dollars. That's how little people thought of it at the time. Subsequently, Television stations began to air the movie for free and people finally began to appreciate the movie for what it was: One of the most heartwarming meaningful movies ever put to the movie screen.
I suppose one lesson we can learn from this is that despite your efforts today in whatever field you might be in. It might go unnoticed and seem a failure to some. But you never know the eternal ramifications your faith, actions, and deeds in this life can accomplish. Even if no one seems to appreciate the seeds you are planting, someday they may bloom into a tree that gives comfort and shade to multitudes. Never lose heart, life is worth living.
