Uzbekistan joins Outer Space Treaty
Uzbekistan has joined the Treaty on Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space, including the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies.
This is expected to open up opportunities for the exploration and use of space, as well as participation in international projects, exchange of resources and knowledge.
On October 10, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a law ratifying the Treaty on Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space, including the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies.
