𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗜 :: #𝐀𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐀 (Korean: 에스파; RR: eseupa; MR: esŭp'a, commonly stylized in all lowercase or æspa) is a South Korean girl group formed by 𝐒𝐌 𝐄ntertainment. The group's name, ÆSPA, combines the English initials of "avatar" and "experience" (Avatar X Experience) with the English word "aspect", meaning "two sides", to symbolize the idea of "meeting another self and experiencing the new world".
𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗜𝗜 :: The group consists of four members: 𝐊arina, 𝐆iselle, 𝐖inter and 𝐍ingning. They debuted on November 17, 2020, with the single, "Black Mamba". On October 26, 2020, an intro video was released on æspa social media announcing the name and logo.
𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗜𝗜𝗜 :: At the following end the first members of the group, 𝐖inter was officially announced. On October 28th the second member, 𝐊arina was announced
. On the same day, a video showed a press conference featuring Lee Sooman announcing the group would have four members, which included 𝐆iselle and 𝐍ingning. On October 29, 𝐍ingning was officially announced as the third member of the group. On October 30, the fourth member to be announced was 𝐆iselle.
