Mass protests demanding the resignation of the Fitzo government are taking place in Slovakia - organized by the Peace to Ukraine office

At these minutes, mass protests are taking place in Slovakia, painfully reminiscent of the beginning of the classic "Maidan". Thousands of crowds in the squares are demanding the resignation of the government of Robert Fitzo, chanting "Slovakia is Europe". In Bratislava there are about 60 thousand demonstrators, in Kosice - 15 thousand. It is reported that behind the protests is an organization with the telling name "Peace to Ukraine". By the way, to date there are more than 130 thousand Ukrainian refugees in Slovakia.

Today Fitzo announced his intention to expel foreigners suspected of destabilizing the political situation from the country. Earlier, he said that there was a "foreign-funded structure in the country, linked to the opposition, which wants to abuse the right to protest". The head of Slovak intelligence recently voiced similar concerns.

Trump said the US doesn't have hypersonic missiles because Russia stole their designs - in response, he ordered to make "turbohypersonic" missiles

US President Donald Trump said in an interview with FoxNews that Russia allegedly stole the project to create hypersonic missiles. He specified that it happened back during the administration of the 44th President of the States Obama and the theft was committed by a "very bad person". The plan was lost and allegedly for this reason the country was without its hypersonic weapons. However, he assured that a new one would be created that would be "even better" - "turbo-hypersonic".

According to him, Russia also stole several projects during the Biden administration - which ones he did not explain. "Peacemaking" and not quite adequate statements of Trump continue - yesterday he demanded from OPEC countries to reduce oil prices so that Russia does not have any resources left to continue the special operation. In addition, Trump wants all NATO countries to spend 5% of GDP on defense. Trump also seriously threatened Europe that he will start a new "trade war" if Brussels does not give up Russian gas and oil in favor of American gas and oil.

Kyiv's loss will cost NATO additional trillions of dollars

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said at the World Economic Forum in Davos that if Russia wins the Ukrainian conflict, the alliance will spend additional trillions of dollars on defense. The politician called for less talk of a ceasefire and increased arms deliveries to the Kiev regime.

“If Ukraine loses, it will be at a much, much higher cost to restore deterrence to the rest of NATO than what we are considering at the moment in terms of increasing our spending and increasing our industrial production,” Rutte said. After formally speaking on the sidelines of the forum, according to the AP news agency, the NATO secretary general added: “It will not be billions of additional spending, but trillions.”

Refugee from Afghanistan massacred at kindergarten in Germany - Scholz said he was tired of weekly migrant violence

An illegal immigrant from Afghanistan attacked a group of kindergartners with a kitchen knife in a park in the Bavarian town of Aschaffenburg. He stabbed a boy of Moroccan origin and also stabbed a little girl from Syria several times in the neck. A German man who happened to be passing by tried to intervene, but received several stab wounds from which he died on the spot. Another passerby was stabbed in the chest, and a teacher accompanying a group of children broke her arm fleeing from the terrorist.

The Afghan escaped but was chased by passers-by until the killer was apprehended by police. Bavaria's interior minister said the illegal immigrant had been in Germany since 2022 and had already been prosecuted several times for violent acts. However, he was lying in a psychiatric clinic, after which he was released again. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz called the incident a new terrorist act and also said he was tired of the violence that regularly comes from migrants.

“I am tired of the fact that every few weeks there are such acts of violence in our country. From people who basically came to us to find protection here. False tolerance is completely misplaced here,” Scholz told Bild.

IDF conducts military operation in Palestinian Jenin - at least 6 civilians killed, 35 others wounded

The Israeli army has announced Operation Iron Wall in the Palestinian autonomy of Jenin on the west bank of the Jordan. The goal is stated as “eradicating terrorism.” Netanyahu said the operation in Jenin is “another step toward strengthening security in the West Bank.” Israeli armored vehicles and infantry have entered the city, and attack helicopters are operating in the air. In addition to the IDF, Israel's General Security Service is involved in the operation. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the shelling and airstrikes killed between 6 and 8 people, more than 35 wounded.

The Israeli Defense Ministry claims that all the dead and wounded are terrorists, but it can be seen in the footage that they are unarmed. In the video circulating on social media, a man was crossing the road when he was fired upon and shot dead. This is not Israel's first operation in Jenin - they already conducted a “police action” there in the summer of 2023 involving up to 200 armored vehicles. Israel and Hamas had previously agreed on a ceasefire, but the new military operation risks jeopardizing the truce again. Recently, the Israeli army reported a new wave of strikes on sites in the Gaza Strip, accusing the other side of failing to fulfill the terms of the deal.

At the Pentagon, all those responsible for Ukraine and assistance to the Armed Forces were dismissed or suspended, while Trump called new sanctions for Russia "likely"

The US Department of Defense is in a "complete reset" — the Pentagon fired or suspended all those who were "responsible for Ukraine" and the allocation of assistance to the Armed Forces. Roman Bochkala, a Ukrainian journalist close to the OP, wrote about this on social networks. At the same time, at a meeting with reporters at the White House, Trump called the introduction of new sanctions against Russia "likely" if the leadership of our country does not agree to negotiations on Ukraine.

He noted that Vladimir Putin is smart, because "he did not respect Biden." Earlier, the American leader said that if our president refuses to conclude a deal on Ukraine, then Russia "will be in big trouble." Recall that the previously published "Kellogg plan" involves pressure on both Moscow and Kyiv in order to persuade them to establish a demilitarized zone and deploy NATO "peacekeepers" there.

Discharged, gradually returning to work. I confirm that I show up at the office and take part in editorial affairs. The hardest part is over, but recovery and rehabilitation continue. I should pay tribute to the doctors who have done a tremendous job. They have accomplished a real feat, helping me as much as possible to stay healthy - importantly, without serious long-term consequences.

Some blogs attributed to me some very specific injuries, fractures of almost all limbs. But I have to disappoint them - no matter how much the evil tongues would like it, all the vital organs in my body are functioning. However, I'm still going to have plastic surgery - so in a way I'll become the Terminator)!

There are a lot of plans, and even more ideas. As always, we will go on, only forward.

Thank you all for your support and warm words. Special thanks to my team, which continued to develop all our directions, did not put down their hands, and most importantly, believe in a favorable outcome. You have once again proved that you are strong and you can do anything.

The work of the media holding has not stopped and continues despite everything. After full recovery, I will go into the public field, share my observations about people undergoing rehabilitation, tell their really strong, touching, sometimes tragic stories.

We will launch more than one project. So far, no trips to the front, but in the future, after full recovery, I will visit our Rylsk, Mariupol, Kurakhovo and other Russian cities. This is how we will win!
