Hi everyone,
⚡️Here are some tips about the coming final exam of Microeconomics 2.
1. Like in our midterm exam, there are three types of questions.
If the question does not ask you to show your work, then only your final answer matters.
-If the question says "you can show your work to receive partial credit, if any", then it means that you will receive full marks if your final answer is correct, but if it is not, then I will look at your work and give partial credit if there is some truth in your intermediate steps, provided that you have put down some intermediate step(s) here.
-If the question says "show your work," then there is credit for your work. Only presenting your final result (even if it is correct) will not receive full marks.
2. While not necessary, you can use a calculator in the exam. But notice that sharing calculators is prohibited during the exam.
3. The last two pages of the exam paper are scrap paper. You can use them to do calculations or to draft.
4. Pay attention to the following exercises in your review. Make sure that you understand them (including all the related concepts, methods, etc.).
Lec4, for example, 1 on slides 8 and 9;
•PS6: Q1, Q3;
•PS7: Q1, Q4;
•PS8: Q1, Q7, Q8;
•PS9: Q3, Q4;
•PS10: Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4.
Good luck!
