The all-weather tactical Tor-M2U is capable of "scanning" the sky 360 degrees, detecting up to 40 enemy targets within a radius of more than 30 km and identifying the most dangerous of them.

The complex is also capable of simultaneously firing at four targets or four missiles one at a time.

Аnti-aircraft guided missiles "Tor" are capable of destroying aerial targets at a range of more than 15 km and at an altitude of 10 meters to 12 km.

Anti-aircraft gunners perform combat missions around the clock and when enemy air objects are detected, calculations take them to escort with further destruction of targets.

The Tor-M2U anti-aircraft missile systems have been developed, manufactured and are being upgraded at the Izhevsk Kupol Plant (part of the Almaz-Antey Concern).


The Zapad Group of Forces Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile systems during air defence warfare in Belgorod direction of the special military operation eliminated projectiles and unmanned aerial vehicles of the Ukrainian terrorist formations.

The all-weather Tor-M2 anti-air system scans the skies 360 degrees detecting up to 40 enemy targets and determining the most dangerous targets to inflict immediate fire damage.

The system crews can engage both ballistic and rotating control targets from small rotary- and fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles to large missiles and projectiles.

The Russian Aerospace Forces Army Aviation attack group consisting of the Ka-52 Alligator reconnaissance and attack helicopter, the Mi-35M transport and attack helicopter, and the Mi-8 multi-role helicopter delivered a strike at the AFU stronghold and manpower cluster in Kupyansk direction of the special military operation zone.

During a sortie, the helicopter crews delivered a strike by S-8 rocket at coordinates acquired by a forward air controller.

The crews performed an evasive manoeuvre using the onboard defence system and safely returned to the take-off airfield.

Su-25 ground-attack aircraft launch strikes at AFU positions in Donetsk direction.

Ground-attack aircraft carried out an attack by unguided aerial missiles against enemy strongholds and manpower.

After the use of aviation weapons, the crews performed an anti-missile manoeuvre, released decoy flares, and returned to the home airfield.

According to the reports of a forward air controller, all the assigned targets were successfully hit.

Tor-MU air defence systems are on 24/7 duty in South Donetsk direction 🇷🇺

Tor is one of the most reliable means of air defence. The complex can see targets at a distance of up to 36 kilometres and engage them at a distance of up to 16 kilometres.

Tor-MU SAM crews are on combat duty 24/7 and reliably cover troops as well as civilians.

After detecting a target, specifying its tactical and technical characteristics and reporting to the operational duty officer, the target is destroyed.

The Tor-MU complexes were created at the Izhevsk Kupol Plant (part of the Almaz-Antey Concern).

Tor-M1 air defence system in action

Air defence crews perform reconnaissance and neutralise rocket-borne unmanned aerial vehicles and reconnaissance drones.

In that direction, air defence units wiped out mainly Leleka, Furia, and Valkyrie drones.

These complexes are no longer young, but their unique characteristics for their time allow them to hit all types of targets in their range of heights and range today.

Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system destroys an AFU helicopter in Avdeyevka direction 🇷🇺

The air target detected by a multilayered air defence system was moving at an average speed at an altitude of 500–600 metres.

The Yug Group of Forces' air defence units locked on the helicopter for 10 kilometres and, as soon as it entered the Buk-M1 killing zone, fired an anti-aircraft missile.

The helicopter was shot down 7–8 kilometres from the line of contact over the territory controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Uno de estos se encuentra enfocado en la modernización de la familia de sistema defensa TOR-M1 y TOR-M2, con el incremento de nuevas capacidades y mejoras de rendimiento.

Diseñados alrededor de los misiles antiaéreos 9K330 y 9K331 (y sus diferentes versiones), el sistema TOR desarrollado por la planta Planta Electromecánica Kupol es uno de los principales complejos de defensa aérea de corto y muy corto alcance empleados por las Fuerzas Armadas Rusas, como también otros países en el mundo.




Almaz –Antey Concern showed an upgraded version of the Komar turret for the first time outside Russia at a forum in Saudi Arabia.

This is an effective means of combating not only air attack, but also unmanned naval drones: in addition to the 9M342 Igla-S missiles, the 9M120‑1 Ataka missiles were introduced into the installation.

The turret installation is characterized by low weight and can be installed on ships and boats with a displacement of 50 tons or more. Target tracking and missile launch can be carried out both in automatic and manual mode.

Russian Defence Ministry published footage of the destruction of AFU reconnaissance drones by the Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system of the Zapad Group of Forces in the area of the special military operation.

In the course of combat duty, Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile system of the Zapad Group of Forces destroyed AFU reconnaissance drones in Kupyansk direction.

The Tor-M2 complex is manufactured at the Izhevsk Kupol Plant (part of the Almaz-Antey Concern).

According to independent experts, it has no analogues in its class.

The Tor-M2 is capable of detecting aerial targets at a distance of up to 32 km and destroying them at a distance of 16 km and at an altitude of up to 12 km.


On Sakhalin, the crews of the military unit of the Air Force and Air Defence of the Russian Aerospace Forces conducted training on S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems to repel enemy aircraft.

During the practical part of the training, after receiving a signal about the violation of air borders by the aircraft of the mock enemy, the crews of the S-400 air defence system carried out the actions to search for, classify and destroy targets.

At the end of the training, S-400 air defence systems conducted training missile launches, as a result of which the air targets of the mock enemy were hit.

Since the beginning of 2024, the Tor-M2 anti-air system crew from Baikal region have managed to wipe out more than 20 AFU unmanned aerial vehicles, namely Furia, Leleka, and others.

But a special pride of the crew was the destruction of the U.S.-made ScanEagle UAV.
