On October 8, 1967, 54 years ago today, Che Guevara was captured by US-military-backed Bolivian forces after a swift and decisive battle. Upon his capture, Che shouted, "do not shoot; I am Che Guevara and I am worth more to you alive than dead!” The next day, he was executed. His hands were then cut off as proof of death and his body was buried in an unmarked grave. *spit*
