📰⏳Current recommendations for management of pulmonary embolism :

✅ According to the 2019 ESC guidelines for the diagnosis and management of acute PE👉

🔶 the use of interventional catheter-directed therapies👉 should be considered only in patients with
🔹 intermediate–high-risk PE

🔹who have haemodynamic and respiratory deterioration despite anticoagulation

🔹 and in patients with high-risk PE in whom thrombolysis either has failed or is deemed not possible due to a contraindication (recommendation class IIa, level of evidence C)
