High prices made the International Energy Agency change its forecasts. A global oil demand growth in 2018 is anticipated to reduce. Supply from the US production will grow by 1.87 MMbpd this year, or 85,000 bpd more than previously thought.
Does it mean the oil prices will go down? Absolutely not!
The forecast is encouraging.
🔸Vice chairman of IHS Markit Dan Yergin predicts oil above $85 a barrel by July as demand for gasoline will be high.
🔸Morgan Stanley increased its forecast from $65 a barrel to $90 in 2020 based on a boom in a demand for diesel and jet fuel because of new shipping regulations.
