⚠️Preliminary observation of trends in mains scores

✅Trend 1. The scores in Gs-1 are very low. The reason?

🅾️I have a preliminary theory which can change based on data- Lack of specificity is the biggest problem in Gs-1 in my observation.

🅾️This is a part of my advocacy that you should consider a content upgrade- ⚠️WHY DID I ASK YOU GUYS TO RECONSIDER SPECTRUM FOR MODERN INDIA?- Click here

🅾️ There are quite a few students who scored better than their previous attempts in Gs 1- they were happy with history- but they still ended up late 80s! Reason- I have a feeling that Society( along with its current affairs application played a major role ) and to an extent even specificity that is needed in geography also gave an edge to few aspirants who scored 95+

👉🏻I need your help in substantiation of this theory- please look at scorecards that fared well in sociology and geography optionals and compare their scores of Gs-1 with the average.

🅾️Trend 2 : Generic content in Gs-3 will no longer help- If you cant work on value addition- it can be a dream killer!

🅾️Trend 3 : As anticipated - Essay scores are below par for a lot of experienced folks- Remember that in this exam, average or " not bad" doesn't make a cut! Do not normalise mediocrity. Please utilise this time for working on Essay and ethics till prelims exam.!

✅Interview score is a state of mind! Just to illustrate : Here are some cases.

⚜️1. Sreekar - 200 marks in interview - Sreekar- Rank 934

⚜️2. Monica- Rank 487- 200 marks in Interview- Cut off was 953- Her score was 953!

⚜️3. Anurag Chopra- Rank 210- Interview score 198( previous attempts around 160s)

⚜️4. Prachi Rathi- Rank 443- Interview score 195 ( previously 173)

P.s. This is not to " claim " a rank- Last year some of them were not in the best state of mind. So getting a few perspectives from people who understand their state of mind will help .

Our mind is the most powerful weapon we have- Knowing how it works will drive shape our destiny 🙂 This applies to all stages of this exam. Self awareness is the key!

🅾️Context : Traditional practice in India of diversifying land use by combining crops, trees, and livestock-Enhances farmer livelihoods + environment conservation

🅾️One of the purest emotions is genuine appreciation for someone who surpasses you. In life's dark moments, feeling true happiness for a friend's success is priceless🙂.

⚜️Dear rankers, if you have such people in your life, cherish them. This hype fades, but true support endures. Your circles will naturally shift – that's growth. But when those who supported you face darkness, be their light, however small. It means the world to them. Let us all make this nation a better place to live because koi bhi desh perfect nahi hota hai- you know the rest....🙂

To the person who inspires this message: You are not alone. I respect your privacy, but I promise a day in the future where things look bright again, at least I will try🙂. This post is my testament, a reminder for us both when you are okay again..

⚜️Precautionary Principle: Understand this principle as part of environmental jurisprudence, prioritizing the prevention of environmental damage over scientific certainty.

⚜️Compensatory Afforestation: Focus on reviewing the Godavarman case (1996) that introduced the concept of compensatory afforestation, requiring the planting of new trees to compensate for forest land converted for non-forest use.
