11 Small Improvements

GENERAL:
- Allow to set which of your devices can receive secret chats (if you use a tablet and a phone, but want to receive all secret chats on your phone and not on your last active device).
- Store downloaded media in seperate folders for each contact.
- Ability to lock the audio recording button (for example if you want to record a class for yourself, taking advantage of your personal cloud).
- Search option in "send music" (today you have to scroll through all your songs).
- Short bios for users.
- Filter messages from unknown senders (that are not in your contacts) into a different tab that doesn't notify you (similar to iMessage and Facebook Messenger).
- History for changed messages.
- Ability to edit videos if they are recorded with instant camera (especially useful if you want to create a gif).

CHANNELS:
- Global search in all public channels (similar to twitter), results ordered by relevance and channel size.

GROUPS:
- Search in the member list of a group/supergroup.
- Option to list all the bots in one group, sorted by "access to messages" and "no access to messages".

Long press on one of the pictures to open a preview (similar to how it works on Instagram). Sometimes two pictures are similar but only one is sharp - quick way to find out. #improvement

NEW IDEA: Bot widgets

Today, there is no beautiful way to interact with bots in groups and no way (except deep links) to interact with bots in channels.

Bot widgets allow both and more:

- You can directly interact with bot widgets by pressing the “+”-button in the upper right corner, which opens a popup (which is basically a deep link with the message-id to the bot). This allows to interact with many different bots without messing with your chat history — and, even more important, with many instances of the same bot, for example many different polls.
- Bot widgets can update their messages sent to groups or channels in real time, which allows direct feedback about the latest interactions with the message the bot sent or live updates of the content of a message.

New Group Settings:

With supergroups the spam-problem got bigger in some groups, often requested improvements for groups include:
- Settings to enable/disable “This guy Joined/Left”-Notifications
- Settings to enable/disable Stickers, Images, Voice-Messages and Richlinks
- Settings to enable/disable richlink previews
- Feature for users to ignore other users in groups (local ban)
- Ability to ban users permanently also in regular groups (for example if a popular channel shares an invite link the group explodes and there is no way to ban users until the group reached 200 members and can be transferred to a supergroup)

Drop would allow you to have all your favourite texts, files and photos at one place. It also allows you to add files from your phone or from your PC to it, so you can easily share files from your phone to your PC and vice versa without having to write yourself.
Of course you could also share files from your Drop to a chat.
It's like a combination of Dropbox and the starred messages in WhatsApp 😉

I would prefer if there were two tabs by default ("Chats" with all your chats and "More" with channels and bots) and there is a setting to divide "Chats" into "Chats" and "Groups" and "More" into "Channels" and "Bots", so there are between two and four tabs, depending on your preferences.
